PartnerNorman A. Moscowitz focuses his practice on white-collar criminal defense and related civil litigation. He represents public and privately-held companies, their directors, owners, officers and employees in all aspects of such cases, from preliminary and grand jury investigations through trial. His matters have included antitrust investigations, financial and securities fraud, environmental crimes, bank fraud, money laundering, public corruption, export controls violations, OFAC and EPLS debarment matters, foreign corrupt practices, corporate immigration fraud, RICO, both criminal and civil, and healthcare fraud. He has also successfully represented clients in civil forfeiture proceedings, in civil SEC regulatory proceedings and in regulatory debarment proceedings. Having been retained by corporations to conduct internal investigations, he has assisted companies in the development of compliance programs and other strategies to avoid prosecution. Prior to entering private practice in 1993, Norman was a federal prosecutor and Senior Litigation Counsel in the United States Attorney's Office in Miami for eleven years, where he specialized in white collar prosecution. Before moving to Miami in 1982 with Jane, to work in the U.S. Attorney's Office, he worked in the Justice Department's Office of Special Investigations in Washington, D.C, bringing denaturalization proceedings against participants in Nazi war crimes.
